Here is Blog Freetown News Media’s report of a letter from the Accountant General’s Department (REF#: AGD/YB/BOSL/22/607) dated 27th July 2022 authorized the Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL) to carry out a transfer £94,050 to the Sierra Leone Mission in London in the name of President Maada Bio, who was on a private visit to London at the time.
It is important to note that this £94,050 doesn’t include personal per diems taken directly in separate amounts by the President Julius Maada Bio and his wife, Fatima Bio.
