Sierra Leone international Musa Noah Kamara (Tombo) expected travel to South Africa for assessment at Kaizer Chiefs.
Musa Noah Kamara (Musa Tombo) joined Bo Rangers FC from East End Lions Football Club in April 2021 for a fee reportedly worth Two hundred and twenty five million leones ( Le225,000,000). However, report say Fifty million leones (Le50,000,000) was paid for the player’s signature, while including two other players from Bo Rangers as part of the deal, Anderson Tongovula was swapped for One hundred million leones (Le100,000,000) and Mohamed Gas Kamara also joined East End Lions for seventy five million leones (Le75,000,000) totalling the sum to Le225,000,000.

Musa Noah Kamara was the country’s top goal scorer with 15 goals in the 2019 Sierra Leone Premier league for East End Lions. His impressive debut season with East End Lions earned him his first professional contract with Swedish second tier superetan club Trelleborgs FF in August 2019, suddenly in just a week after signing a three and half years contract with Trelleborgs FF the player then terminated his contract and opted a return back home from Sweden.
Musa Tombo as he is fondly called is believed to have a contract with champions of the just concluded Sierra Leone Premier league 2021/22 Bo Rangers who are in intensive preparations ahead of their continental club representation in the CAF champions league for the first in their entire club history. However, reports of Bo Rangers withholding the player’s passport are as a result of the club’s demand for due transfer procedures for the services of their player if at all the player in question is to make his way out of the club as demanded for by both CAF/FIFA with regards players’ transfer regulations, and while the country’s Football Association on other hand reluctant to not have issued out an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) to the player is because club sources say the player still has a contract with Bo Rangers, and as of now no other football club has come forward and/or expressed or better still requested for the signature of Musa Noah Kamara and not even Kaizer Chiefs and so Tombo still remain a Bo Rangers player despite news of his transfer broke out some few days ago on social media.

A news outlet in South Africa have reported that Kaizer Chiefs have only invited Musa Noah Kamara on an assessment basis because they understand the quality marksman from Sierra Leone is a free player and is without a contract, but Bo Rangers insisted that the player has a contract running with the club despite not stating how long is the player’s contract with the Southern giants Bo Rangers.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane is also assessing two other strikers at Naturena. They are Wayde Lekay who is a free agent after leaving TS Galaxy, as well as Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana from Burundi. Kaizer Chiefs’s Naturena village is looking to be filled with a handful trialists. The search for a striker is continuing, and Musa Noah Kamara has earned the impression of Arthur Zwane who still hopes the player’s passport is released in time so the player could arrive later today in South Africa to join other trialists, even though there’s still some work and more impression to deliver on the side of the player.
