President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Conference of Heads of State and Government convened an extraordinary summit on the political situation in Guinea, including is scheduled for Accra on September 16, 2021.
ECOWAS Heads of State and Government had already held an extraordinary summit in video conferencing on 8 September 2021 on the political situation in Guinea. Following the Summit, a high-level mission was sent to Guinea to assess the situation in Guinea and report to the Heads of State.
At the Extraordinary Summit in Accra, ECOWAS Heads of State and Government will take stock of the political situation in Guinea.
