Huge smoke has taken over the capital city of Freetown as the cleaning exercise continues in the morning hours of Saturday 1st February 2020.
The cleaning exercise which was proclaimed by the President after taking over office was geared towards bringing sanity to the country. In the country’s capital Freetown there has been a huge chunk of smoke which has engulfed the city on the second national cleaning exercise of 2020.

It is evidently clear that residents in the Freetown municipality are clearing their dirt and waste, but using the wrong form of dumping method that’s burning. Environmental activist Sal Jalloh is calling on the Government, Ministry of Environment, Freetown City Council and all concerned institutions to educate the general public on how to properly dump their waste.

cleaning process to me is one which should be regularly practice not only in bigger towns,but rather,countrywide if we expect its effectiveness
